The Unicorn has Returned to His Pedestal

Thurber House is proud to announce that with the generous help and support of Franklin County Parks and Recreations and the handiwork of the Columbus Art Memorial Company, the Unicorn in the Garden is now rightfully back on his pedestal.

As you may recall, in August of 2006, the unicorn was stolen and returned a few days later with a note from "the unicorn." The note, placed under one of his hooves, talked about wanting to sow his wild oats and didn't mean to cause such a stir. The statue has been carefully restored, cleaned and remounted with the assistance of the Columbus Art Memorial Company.

In true, play-by-play fashion, please enjoy the remounting of our favorite unicorn!
