Our volunteers help make many of our programs possible and are involved with everything from planning events, to selling books, to keeping Thurber House open for tours on the weekends. Whether you're a writer, a reader, a history buff, or a James Thurber fan, we have a volunteer opportunity for you, and the only requirements are that you enjoy quality literary programming, like to pitch in, and know how to have fun! We have volunteer programs for both adults and teens, so there's something for everyone. Plus, we need volunteers during weekdays and on the weekends, and at different times during the day, so there's an opportunity that will fit your schedule.
